About DRJS
DRJS Software & Consulting Ltd is founded and directed by Dr David Slade, whose work spans pharmaceutical and process engineering, applied mathematics, first-principles modelling, data-driven AI, analytics and digital product delivery.
How I think and build
I am passionate about understanding why a system behaves as it does. That means starting with the underlying physics, chemistry and engineering, then combining that understanding with data, statistics and AI to produce models that are both useful and explainable.
Much of my industrial work has sat in pharmaceutical and formulated-product development and manufacturing, where scientific credibility, uncertainty and operational consequences all matter. I favour visible assumptions, validated models and architectures that a future team can operate. The result may be a digital twin, an analytics workflow, an AI model, an API or a complete product, but it should always make the decision clearer and the underlying reasoning more transparent.
Education
